Wellington Pétanque Club have retained their title as Devon League Champions for the second year.
The finals took place on a chilly day at ISCA, Exeter on 5 October.
After beating Plymouth Pétanque in the semi-final Wellington met ISCA in the final, keen to avenge their defeat in the Triples Invitational the previous weekend.
In some tightly contested matches:
Richard Brickles took the Singles 13 – 12
Geoff Sully, Barry Ede and Eddie Gozna were defeated 7 – 13 in the Triples
In the Doubles, Richard and Barry won 13 - 12 and Eddie and Geoff won 13 - 11
The trophy was presented by Ann Barton, Secretary of the Devon Pétanque League.
Many congratulations to Wellington, who have retained their title as Devon League Champions 2025.

These were obviously some tightly contested matches so congratulations to all who took part. Ann Barton, Secretary of the Devon League, presented the trophy to the team.
