2026 Invitational

The Triples Invitational was played on Sunday, 27 September and was enjoyed by all, despite the chill and a few short showers.

Eight teams played - North Devon, Weston super Mare, Ottery St Mary, ISCA, Bridgwater, Honiton, Wellington Boys and Wellington Girls.

The teams played a round robin in two leagues in the morning, with the top two teams from each playing for the Webers Trophy and third and fourth playing for the Plate.

Wellington Boys reached the final again, playing a very long, hard-fought match against Ottery. Ottery were in the lead for most of the game until Wellington caught up at 8 : 9. Ottery then scored 2 to make it 8 : 11 but Wellington scored three at a crucial point to equalise. Ottery then took the match with a two in the final end.

Wellington Girls were playing in the Plate and played an extra, fun, game for third place.
