Club Singles 2025

The club Singles competition was played on 7 August with the afternoon turning unexpectedly damp.

The morning started with sixteen players in four leagues each playing three matches. The top two players in each league went forward to the main Shield knock-out competition in the afternoon. Third and fourth placed competitors played for the Plate.

There were some very tight matches and Rodney Dewey took the Plate, winning 13 - 12 against Kaye Clydesdale.

The Shield semi-finalists were Mike Crew and Pauline Warden with Michael Wheatley and Geoff Sully playing the final. In the event, Michael Wheatley took the trophy for the third year running.
