Devon Champions for the second year

Many congratulations to Wellington, who have retained their title as Devon League Champions 2025.

After beating Plymouth Pétanque in the semi-final Wellington met iSCA in the final, keen to avenge their defeat in the Triples Invitational last weeked.

Richard Brickles took the Singles 13 - 12

In the Triples Geoff Sully, Barry Ede and Eddie Gozna were defeated 7 - 13

In the Doubles Richard and Barry won 13 - 12 and Eddie and Geoff won 13 - 11

These were obviously some tightly contested matches so congratulations to all who took part. Ann Barton, Secretary of the Devon League, presented the trophy to the team.

And thank you too, to their supporters - Alison, Jo, Kaye, Maggie, Marion and Rachel - who braved a very chilly day to cheer them on.
