The first round of the Devon League was played on Sunday 12 April and Wellington started it's campaign to win the title for the third year in succession at home to North Devon Golf Club - Pétanque.

The new format played two triples matches and three doubles. Wellington narrowly lost the triples but came back to win all three doubles. Full results can be seen in the Devon League section of the website.

The second round will be played on Sunday 10 May and Wellington will be at home to Honiton.
